Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) to South Korea visa requirements

Visa-free up to 90 days. K-ETA waived through 31 December 2026. Taiwanese (Republic of China) ordinary passport holders enter South Korea visa-free for up to 90 days per entry. Korea's official K-ETA eligibility list shows Taiwan with a 90-day allowed stay, and Korea extended the temporary K-ETA exemption for eligible countries/regions through 31 December 2026. A Taiwanese visitor may therefore enter without applying for K-ETA during the waiver period, but travelers without a valid K-ETA are treated as K-ETA-exempt individuals for arrival-card purposes and should submit the free e-Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival unless another declaration exclusion applies. Travelers who voluntarily hold a valid K-ETA are excluded from arrival-card declaration. Although Taiwan and Korea do not have formal diplomatic relations, the practical travel arrangement is fully in effect.
