Singapore to Papua New Guinea visa requirements

Singapore passport holders can get a Visa on Arrival in Papua New Guinea for tourism (up to 60 days, single entry). Since March 2025 Singapore is on the VOA-eligible list; you may also apply online for an Easy Visitor Permit (eVisa) before you travel. Separately, ALL travellers must complete the free PNG Digital Arrival Card online within 72 hours of arrival, effective 1 October 2025. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Singapore passport do NOT enjoy visa-free entry to Papua New Guinea, but Singapore was added to the Visa on Arrival (VOA) list in March 2025. Eligible tourists can obtain a Visitor visa on arrival at Port Moresby (Jacksons) International Airport, valid for a single-entry stay of up to 60 days, provided the passport is valid for at least 6 months. The application is lodged through PNG's electronic visa portal; eligible nationals can complete it at the airport, and the airport VOA for eligible tourists is generally issued free of charge. Alternatively (and recommended for certainty and faster clearance), Singaporeans can apply online beforehand for the Easy Visitor Permit / Visitor eVisa, which carries a lodgement fee of about USD 50 and is valid for 60 days, single entry. A major recent change: from 1 October 2025 the PNG Digital Arrival Card (PNGDAC) is mandatory for every international arrival, including transit passengers and citizens. It is free, completed online at pngdac.ica.gov.pg within 72 hours before arrival, and is separate from the visa — a valid visa alone does not satisfy it. Travellers must present the PNGDAC confirmation QR code at airline check-in and immigration. Because VOA eligibility, slots, and fees can change and airport processing can be slow, applying for the eVisa in advance is the safer, recommended route.
