Singapore to Oman visa requirements

Singapore ordinary passport holders can enter Oman visa-free for tourism for up to 14 days. No visa or eVisa is needed for short visits; you must show a confirmed hotel booking, return ticket, travel/health insurance, sufficient funds and a passport valid for at least 6 months. As of mid-2026, Singapore is on the Sultanate of Oman's unilateral visa-exemption list, which covers more than 100 nationalities for tourist stays of up to 14 days. Singapore qualifies unconditionally (it does not need to rely on holding a US/UK/Canada/Schengen/Australia/Japan visa, which is the route for the conditional second group). At the border, Omani immigration may ask to see a confirmed hotel/accommodation reservation, a return or onward air ticket, proof of travel/health insurance, and evidence of sufficient funds for the stay. The passport must be valid for no fewer than 6 months. The 14-day visa-free stay cannot be extended or converted to any residence visa. Travellers needing a longer stay (e.g. the 30-day tourist visa) must apply online through the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal (evisa.rop.gov.om) before travel; there is no general visa-on-arrival for short tourist visits by Singapore citizens because the free 14-day exemption applies. Oman is not part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because entry rules can change at short notice, travellers should re-check the Singapore MFA and Oman ROP eVisa sites shortly before departure.
