Singapore to Iran visa requirements

Singapore passport holders can enter Iran visa-free for tourism for up to 15 days, once every six months. Iran scrapped visa requirements for Singapore citizens on 4 February 2024. Holders of an ordinary Singapore passport do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Iran. Following Iran's unilateral visa-waiver decision effective 4 February 2024, Singapore citizens may enter Iran visa-free for tourism for a non-extendable period of 15 days, available once every six months. No advance application, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival fee is required for this channel. The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of departure to Iran. Importantly, Iran refuses entry to anyone whose passport contains an Israeli visa or stamp less than 12 months old. Note that, as of 2026, the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises citizens to defer all travel to Iran and the wider Middle East due to the regional security situation, and Singapore has no diplomatic mission in Iran, limiting emergency consular assistance. The visa-free allowance covers tourism only; business, work, study, or journalism still require an appropriate visa obtained in advance through the Iranian eVisa portal or an Iranian mission.
