Singapore to India visa requirements

Visa required before travel. Singapore ordinary passport holders can usually use India e-Visa; e-Tourist fees are USD 10/25 for 30 days, USD 25 for 1 year, or USD 200 for 5 years, plus 3% bank charge. Singapore ordinary passport holders need a visa before travelling to India. Singapore is on India's e-Visa eligible-nationality list, so tourism, business, medical, conference and other eligible short-stay categories can usually be applied for online at the official India Visa Online portal. A regular/paper visa is still required for purposes not covered by e-Visa, including employment, journalism, most NGO work, or cases where the traveller is not e-Visa eligible. The official 20 February 2026 e-Tourist fee table lists Singapore at USD 10 for a 30-day eTV in April-June, USD 25 for a 30-day eTV in July-March, USD 25 for a 1-year eTV, and USD 200 for a 5-year eTV, plus a 3% bank charge. The 30-day e-Tourist Visa is double entry; 1-year and 5-year e-Tourist visas are multiple entry and the maximum stay in India during one calendar year must not exceed 180 days. Apply at least 4 days before arrival: 30-day eTV applications can be made up to 30 days ahead, while 1-year/5-year eTV and most other e-Visa applications can be made up to 120 days ahead. e-Visa holders may enter only through listed e-Visa entry points, currently 33 airports, 33 seaports and 4 landports, and may exit from any authorised Indian Immigration Check Post. Visa-on-Arrival is limited to Japan, South Korea and certain UAE nationals, not Singapore citizens. Foreign nationals and OCI cardholders must also complete India's free e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arrival; this is arrival information, not a visa.
