Singapore to Guyana visa requirements

Singapore (ordinary) passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Guyana. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 30 days, a privilege added by Guyana on 1 October 2023. Guyana grants visa-free entry to holders of ordinary Singapore passports for tourism and short visits of up to 30 days. The Guyana Ministry of Foreign Affairs explicitly lists Singapore among the nationalities exempt from a visa "for a period not exceeding 30 days." This exemption took effect on 1 October 2023 and remains valid as of mid-2026. Guyana is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. To enter, travelers need a passport valid for at least 6 months on arrival with at least two blank pages, proof of onward/return travel, and proof of accommodation/funds. There is no visa fee. Stays may be extended in-country through the Ministry of Home Affairs (generally two 30-day extensions, up to 90 days total). No advance application is required before traveling; the visa-free stay is granted by the immigration officer at the port of entry (typically Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Georgetown).
