🇸🇬SINGAPORE🇫🇷FRANCE (SCHENGEN)SG-FR Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to visit France (Schengen)?
No visa needed. Singapore ordinary passport holders can enter France visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. France is part of the Schengen Area, and Singapore ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free access for short stays. You may visit France (and the wider Schengen Area) for tourism or business for up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period without a visa, provided you do not undertake paid work. Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen Area and have been issued within the previous 10 years. Since 10 April 2026, the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is fully operational: on first entry your facial image and fingerprints are recorded, and border crossings are logged electronically instead of by passport stamp. ETIAS (the European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is expected to become mandatory in the last quarter of 2026; it is NOT yet required as of 30 May 2026, but Singaporeans should plan to obtain it once it launches. At the border you should be ready to show proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds.
