🇸🇬SINGAPORE🇫🇮FINLANDSG-FI Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to visit Finland?
Singapore ordinary passport holders can visit Finland visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism. ETIAS is not yet required (launch expected late 2026). Finland is part of the Schengen Area, and Singapore is on the EU's visa-exempt list. As of 30 May 2026, holders of an ordinary Singapore passport may enter Finland and the wider Schengen Area without a visa for short stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period, covering tourism, family visits, business and short-term study. No visa or pre-travel authorisation is required to enter today. Travelers should note two EU border systems: the Entry/Exit System (EES) became fully operational on 10 April 2026, so on arrival your fingerprints and facial image are registered electronically instead of a passport stamp — this is free and done at the border. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is scheduled to launch in the last quarter of 2026; once live it will require Singapore citizens to obtain a low-cost online travel authorisation (currently set at EUR 20, valid 3 years) before departure. ETIAS is not yet mandatory as of this date, so a valid passport remains sufficient. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area and was issued within the last 10 years.
