Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to visit DK?
Singapore ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist stays in Denmark — up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen area. Denmark is part of the Schengen area, and Singapore is on the EU's visa-exempt list. As of 30 May 2026, holders of an ordinary Singapore passport may enter Denmark for tourism, business or transit without a visa for up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period (counted across ALL Schengen states, not Denmark alone). Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure from Schengen and must have been issued within the previous 10 years. Since 10 April 2026 the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is fully operational, so first-time entrants register fingerprints and a facial image at the border instead of receiving a passport stamp — this is automatic and free. The ETIAS travel authorisation (a roughly EUR 20 online pre-authorisation for visa-exempt nationals, including Singaporeans) is expected to launch in Q4 2026; it is NOT yet required for travel on 30 May 2026. Until ETIAS goes live, no online application or fee is needed — simply travel with a valid passport and supporting documents.
