Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to visit Brazil?
No visa needed. Singapore ordinary passport holders can enter Brazil visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. Singapore ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Brazil. Brazil grants visa-free entry for stays of up to 90 days per entry within a 180-day period. You simply arrive with a valid passport, proof of onward/return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds. The 90-day stay can be extended once by a further period (up to a 180-day total per year) by applying to the Brazilian Federal Police (Polícia Federal) before your authorized stay expires. Note that Brazil's 2025 reinstatement of the eVisa requirement applied only to nationals of the United States, Canada, and Australia, and the January-May 2026 changes affected Chinese nationals; none of these affect Singapore citizens, who remain visa-exempt. There is no application fee and no online pre-registration required for Singaporeans. Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay (six months' validity is strongly recommended). Entry is for tourism, business, transit, and similar non-remunerated activities; you may not work or receive payment from a Brazilian source under visa-free entry.
