Do Singapore passport holders need a visa to visit UAE?
Singapore ordinary passport holders can enter the UAE visa-free. A visit visa is granted free of charge on arrival, allowing a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Singapore is on the UAE's visa-free entry list. Holders of ordinary Singapore passports do not need to apply for any visa in advance for tourism or short visits. On arrival at any UAE port of entry, immigration stamps a visit visa free of charge, permitting a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day rolling period (extended from 30 days in September 2024, with the 90/180 rolling-window basis clarified in August 2025). The passport must be machine-readable and valid for at least six months from the date of arrival. Travelers whose passports show only a single name (no separate given/surname) may be refused entry under UAE identity rules. No fee applies for the on-arrival visit visa. For stays beyond 90 days, work, or residence, a separate visa must be arranged in advance.
