Philippines to Lebanon visa requirements

A Philippine ordinary passport holder needs a visa arranged before traveling to Lebanon. Visa on arrival is not available to ordinary Filipino passport holders (it applies only to Philippine official, service and special passports). As a labor-exporting nationality, Filipinos must also obtain pre-approval from Lebanon's General Directorate of General Security (GDGS) before the visa is issued at a Lebanese embassy/consulate. Passports containing any Israeli stamp or visa are refused entry. Lebanon grants a free one-month visa on arrival to holders of more than 80 nationalities (including all EU states) and to GCC/Jordanian citizens, but the Philippines is treated differently. The official Lebanese visa policy extends visa on arrival to Philippine official, service and special passports only; ordinary Philippine passport holders are not in the VOA list. Because the Philippines is classed as a labor-exporting country, ordinary passport holders must apply for a visa in advance at a Lebanese embassy or consulate AND secure prior approval from the General Directorate of General Security (GDGS) before the visa can be issued.
