🇲🇾Malaysia🇧🇼BotswanaMY-BW Malaysia to Botswana visa requirements
Malaysian passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Botswana for tourism. They can enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days. Malaysia is on Botswana's list of visa-exempt countries, and as a Commonwealth member, Malaysian ordinary passport holders are also covered by Botswana's general Commonwealth visa-waiver (Malaysia is not among the excepted Commonwealth states). Malaysian tourists may enter Botswana without any visa for stays of up to 90 days within a 12-month period. No advance application, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the port of entry and receive an entry stamp from immigration. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and have at least 2 blank pages for stamps. Immigration officers may ask for proof of onward or return travel, accommodation details, and evidence of sufficient funds for the stay. The visa-free allowance is for tourism and short visits only; work, study, or long-term stays require the appropriate permit or visa obtained in advance. This verdict was verified against the Botswana Tourism Organisation, the Government of Botswana visa portal, and the Wikipedia visa-requirements table, all of which confirm visa-free access for Malaysia.
