Malaysia to Angola visa requirements

Malaysian ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Angola for tourism. Apply online via Angola's official SME portal before travel; Malaysia is not on Angola's visa-exemption list. As of June 2026, a Malaysian ordinary passport holder traveling to Angola for tourism must obtain a tourist eVisa in advance. Malaysia is not among the countries granted visa-free or visa-exemption entry to Angola, so an electronic visa application through the official Serviço de Migração e Estrangeiros (SME) portal (svisa.minjusdh.gov.ao) is required before departure. The tourist eVisa typically permits a stay of up to 30 days, extendable inside Angola, and carries a government fee of around USD 120. Travelers should apply at least 2-3 weeks ahead, hold a passport valid for at least 6 months with two blank pages, and present proof of accommodation, a return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds on arrival. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Angola and should be obtained at least 10 days before travel. Angola is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
