Since the launch of Chad's electronic visa on 11 December 2024 and the mandatory transition completed in May 2026, the eVisa is now the standard channel: as of 11 May 2026 all new applications must be filed exclusively through the official government platform evisa.td, and from 21 May 2026 any visa issued outside that platform is no longer accepted for entry.
