Mexico to Saudi Arabia visa requirements

Mexican ordinary passport holders need a visa before traveling to Saudi Arabia. Mexico is NOT on Saudi Arabia's tourist eVisa nationality list (66 eligible countries, with Panama the only eligible mainland Latin American nation). Most Mexicans must apply for a regular tourist visa at a Saudi embassy/consulate. An exception exists: Mexicans who hold a valid, previously-used US, UK, or Schengen visa (or US/UK/EU residence) can obtain a Saudi eVisa online or visa on arrival. As of mid-2026, Mexico is not among the 66 nationalities eligible for Saudi Arabia's tourist eVisa, so a Mexican ordinary passport holder cannot apply for the standard tourist eVisa based on nationality alone. The default route is a regular (sticker) tourist visa obtained in advance through the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Mexico City or an authorized visa center. There is, however, a widely used shortcut: under Saudi rules in force since 2020, travelers of any nationality who hold a valid US, UK, or Schengen tourist/business visa that has been used at least once, or who hold permanent residence in the US, UK, or an EU/Schengen country, can apply for the Saudi eVisa online or receive a visa on arrival at major airports. The Saudi tourist visa (in either form) is a one-year, multiple-entry permit allowing stays of up to 90 days per visit, and the online fee including mandatory medical insurance is about SAR 535 (roughly USD 142). Because the eVisa channel is only conditionally available to Mexicans, this route is classified conservatively as visa-required. Hajj-period travel and work/study are excluded from the tourist visa.

Mexico to Saudi Arabia route verified
Confirmed Mexico is not on Saudi Arabia's 66-country tourist eVisa nationality list (Panama is the only eligible mainland Latin American country). Mexicans need a regular embassy tourist visa, unless they hold a valid used US/UK/Schengen visa or US/UK/EU residence allowing eVisa/visa on arrival. Verdict set to visa-required.
