Do Mexico passport holders need a visa to visit Malaysia?

Mexican ordinary passport holders can enter Malaysia visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. No visa is needed, but you must complete the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within 3 days before arrival. Holders of an ordinary Mexican passport do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Malaysia. They are granted visa-free entry for a maximum stay of 30 days per the Malaysian visa policy. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, and travellers should hold proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. Since 1 January 2024, every foreign visitor must submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within 72 hours before arrival; it is free of charge through the official Immigration Department portal. The 30-day visa-free entry cannot normally be extended in-country for tourism beyond the granted period; longer stays require applying for a tourism visa through a Malaysian mission. There is no visa fee for the visa-free entry itself.
