Mexico to Montenegro visa requirements

Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Montenegro. You may enter, transit and stay for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period with no visa required. Mexico holds visa-exempt status under Montenegro's visa policy, which is aligned with the EU/Schengen common visa list. An ordinary Mexican passport holder can travel to Montenegro for tourism, business or transit and stay visa-free for up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. No advance visa, eVisa, or electronic travel authorization is required. Montenegro is an EU accession candidate but is NOT a member of the Schengen Area, so the EU ETIAS system does not apply to entry into Montenegro. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date and should carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. Foreigners staying overnight must be registered with the local police/tourist office within 24 hours of arrival; hotels and registered hosts do this automatically. The 90-day allowance is the total of all visits within the 180-day window, not 90 days per entry.
