Mexico to Kazakhstan visa requirements

Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist trips to Kazakhstan. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 30 calendar days per entry, with a cumulative cap of 90 days within any 180-day period. No advance application or fee is required. Kazakhstan grants Mexican ordinary passport holders visa-free entry under its unilateral visa-waiver regime, in place since 1 January 2017 and reconfirmed in Kazakhstan's official 2026 entry rules. Mexico is on the list of roughly 55-56 nationalities that may enter without a visa for tourism, business, private or transit purposes. The permitted stay is up to 30 calendar days from the moment of crossing the border on each entry, but the total accumulated stay must not exceed 90 calendar days within any rolling 180-day period; you cannot make a quick border run to indefinitely reset the count. Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay (six months' onward validity is strongly recommended to avoid border issues), and you should be ready to show proof of onward or return travel. Migration registration is handled automatically by hotels at check-in; if you stay in private accommodation longer than the short threshold, the host must register you with the migration police within three business days to avoid fines. For a normal short tourist visit there is no application, no fee, and no eVisa needed.
