🇲🇽Mexico🇰🇬KyrgyzstanMX-KG Mexico to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements
Mexican ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Kyrgyzstan. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 30 days within any 60-day period. As of mid-2026, holders of an ordinary Mexican passport can travel to Kyrgyzstan for tourism without a visa. Mexico is one of 55 countries on Kyrgyzstan's visa-free list. Under Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 855, which took effect on 31 December 2025, visa-free stays for these nationalities are capped at a maximum of 30 calendar days within any 60-day period counted from the date of first entry. No application, fee, or e-Visa is required for this short tourist stay. Kyrgyzstan is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers should hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond arrival, with at least one blank page, and may be asked at the border for proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. If you intend to stay longer than 30 days, you must apply for an e-Visa at the official portal (evisa.e-gov.kg) or another appropriate visa before travel. Registration with local authorities (OVIR) is generally required only for stays exceeding 60 days.
