Mexico to Hong Kong (SAR China) visa requirements

No visa is needed for Mexican ordinary passport holders visiting Hong Kong for tourism, transit, family visits, or permitted short business activities for up to 90 days. Mexican ordinary passport holders remain eligible for visa-free entry to Hong Kong for visits of up to 90 days. The Hong Kong Immigration Department lists Mexico as visa-free for visits not exceeding 90 days, and Mexico's SRE travel guide likewise says Mexican passport holders do not need a visa for Hong Kong for tourism, transit, or business visits up to 90 days. No advance visa, eVisa, ETA, or pre-arrival registration is required for Mexican passport holders. Travellers should carry a valid passport, onward or return transportation unless transiting to Mainland China or Macao, accommodation details, and enough funds to cover the stay without working. Visitor status allows tourism, family or social visits, transit, and limited business-related visitor activities such as meetings, contracts, tenders, product orientation, and eligible trade-fair participation. It does not allow paid or unpaid employment, establishing or joining a business, becoming a student, residence, or stays beyond the visa-free period without the correct visa or entry permit. Hong Kong immigration officers retain discretion to admit or refuse entry and set the permitted stay.
