Mexico to Fiji visa requirements

Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Fiji. Mexico is on Fiji's visa-exemption list, and travelers receive a free Visitor Permit on arrival for stays of up to 4 months. Fiji grants visa-free entry to holders of Mexican ordinary passports for tourism and short visits. Mexico appears on the official Fiji Ministry of Immigration list of visa-exempted countries. On arrival, an immigration officer issues a Visitor Permit free of charge, which may be granted for up to a maximum of four months (the exact period is at the officer's discretion). No advance application, eVisa, or fee is required to enter. To qualify, the traveler must hold a passport valid for at least six months, hold a confirmed onward/return ticket, demonstrate sufficient funds for the stay, and have accommodation arrangements. The Visitor Permit is strictly for tourism, family visits, and similar short non-paid purposes; it does not permit employment, paid work, or business that generates local income. If a longer stay is needed, the Visitor Permit can be extended once, for an additional two months, at the Department of Immigration for a fee (currently FJD 93.00), giving a maximum total stay of six months before departure is required. Fiji is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
