No visa needed. Mexican ordinary passport holders can enter Denmark visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen Area. Denmark is part of the Schengen Area, and Mexico is on the EU visa-exempt list (Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2018/1806). This means Mexican nationals holding an ordinary passport do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Denmark and may stay up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period throughout the entire Schengen zone. As of 30 May 2026, no pre-travel authorisation is required. The EU's ETIAS travel authorisation is scheduled to begin operations in the last quarter of 2026; once it is fully in force, visa-exempt travellers including Mexicans will need to obtain an approved ETIAS (an online authorisation, not a visa) before travelling. ETIAS will not change Mexico's visa-free status. Travellers should carry a passport valid for at least three months beyond their planned departure from the Schengen Area and proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds, which border officers may request.

How to apply

Confirm your passport validity

Ensure your Mexican ordinary passport is valid for at least three months beyond your planned date of departure from the Schengen Area and was issued within the last 10 years.
