Mexico to Cameroon visa requirements

Mexican ordinary passport holders need a visa for Cameroon and must obtain an eVisa online before travel via the official portal evisacam.cm. There is no general visa-on-arrival. Cameroon requires a visa from holders of an ordinary Mexican passport; Mexico is not on any visa-exemption list. Since 30 April 2023, Cameroon operates an entirely digital eVisa system, and the official portal evisacam.cm is the only accepted channel for ordinary travelers ("No file submitted outside the evisacam.cm platform will be admitted and processed"). For a short tourist visit, applicants choose the short-stay visa, which permits a stay of up to 180 days and is issued within 72 hours of online payment for normal processing (24 hours for express). The current official fee is EUR 153 for normal short-stay processing and EUR 229 for express. There is no general visa-on-arrival: arrival registration is only offered in the narrow case where the traveler is in a country with no Cameroonian diplomatic representation and the application was already validated online. A passport valid at least six months and a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate are mandatory. Cameroon is in Central Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
