South Korea to Venezuela visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist stays in Venezuela. They may enter visa-free for up to 90 days, receiving a tourist card (Tarjeta de Ingreso) on arrival. As of 2026-06-01, holders of an ordinary South Korea (KR) passport can travel to Venezuela (VE) for tourism without obtaining a visa in advance. Venezuela grants visa-free entry to Korean nationals for short visits of up to 90 days. On arrival, travelers are issued a tourist card (Tarjeta de Ingreso) — historically free or a small fee depending on the port of entry and airline practices. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and have at least two blank visa pages. Proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds may be requested by immigration officers. Note: Venezuela is in South America and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers should also be aware that the South Korean government maintains a special travel advisory/ban (effective Nov 2025) for several border states (Zulia, Tachira, Apure, Sucre, excluding their capitals), and broader security warnings apply throughout the country.
