🇰🇷SOUTH KOREA🇹🇷TÜRKIYEKR-TR Do South Korea passport holders need a visa to visit Türkiye?
South Korean ordinary passport holders can travel to Türkiye visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. No e-visa or visa-on-arrival is needed. South Korea and Türkiye maintain a visa exemption arrangement. According to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, holders of South Korean ordinary (and official) passports are exempt from a visa for travel of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. This covers tourism, family visits, and short business trips. No e-visa application is required, and South Koreans are in fact not eligible for the Turkish e-visa because they already enjoy visa-free entry. On arrival, travelers should present a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry (with a minimum of 60 days of validity beyond the intended stay), and may be asked for proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. The 90-day allowance is cumulative across the rolling 180-day window, so repeated short trips count toward the total. Stays longer than 90 days, or travel for work, study, or paid activity, require a visa obtained in advance from a Turkish mission or a residence permit applied for inside Türkiye.
