South Korea to Senegal visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders can currently visit Senegal visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. No visa or eVisa is required before travel as of June 2026, though an eVisa rollout has been announced and may take effect. As of 1 June 2026, citizens of the Republic of Korea holding an ordinary passport do not need a visa to enter Senegal for tourism or short visits. Senegal grants visa-free entry of up to 90 days on arrival, with an entry stamp issued at the border (Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport). This is confirmed by Senegal's published visa policy, the US Department of State entry-requirements page (which mirrors Senegal's policy: "No visa is required for 90 days or less"), and visa-information aggregators. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of arrival with at least one blank page, and should carry proof of onward or return travel plus proof of accommodation/funds, which border officers may request. IMPORTANT FORWARD-LOOKING NOTE: Senegal's Council of Ministers adopted a reciprocity-based electronic visa (eVisa) measure on 30 July 2025, intended to require nationals of countries that impose visas on Senegalese citizens (which includes South Korea) to obtain a paid eVisa before travel. However, as of this verification the eVisa has NOT been launched: Senegal's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs portal still lists the eVisa as "coming soon," no official application platform, fee schedule, or effective date has been confirmed, and independent trackers warn that some third-party sites (e.g. senevisa.com) are not verified official channels. Until the eVisa is officially live, visa-free entry remains valid. Korean travelers should re-check official sources close to departure, because this could change at short notice. Yellow fever vaccination is recommended/required if arriving from a country with risk of transmission.
