South Korea to Moldova visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Moldova. They can enter visa-free for tourism or short visits for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Since January 2014, the Republic of Moldova has granted unilateral visa-free entry to holders of ordinary South Korean (Republic of Korea) passports. You may stay for up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period for tourism, business, transit, or family visits. No visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required for these short stays. Moldova is NOT part of the European Union or the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the upcoming EU ETIAS authorization do not apply here; Moldova operates its own separate 90/180 count. Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date. Border officers may ask to see onward/return travel, proof of accommodation, and sufficient funds. Note this arrangement is one-directional: Moldovan citizens still require a visa to enter South Korea. If you intend to stay longer than 90 days, work, study, or reside, you must obtain the appropriate long-stay visa or residence permit from the Bureau for Migration and Asylum of Moldova.
