South Korea to Luxembourg visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Luxembourg. As a Schengen member, Luxembourg admits Korean nationals visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Luxembourg is part of the Schengen Area, and South Korea is on the EU's Annex II list of visa-exempt third countries. This means a South Korean ordinary passport holder can travel to Luxembourg for tourism, business or transit without any visa, staying up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen zone (the 90 days are counted cumulatively for all Schengen countries combined, not per country). At entry you must satisfy standard Schengen conditions: a passport valid for at least three months beyond your intended departure and issued within the last 10 years, proof of sufficient funds, accommodation details, and a return or onward ticket. As of 1 June 2026 no pre-travel authorization is required. However, the EU's ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026, after which visa-exempt nationals including South Koreans will need a one-time online ETIAS authorization (€20, valid 3 years) before boarding. ETIAS is not a visa and is not yet mandatory; there will be a transitional grace period before it becomes compulsory in 2027. For now the route remains fully visa-free.
