South Korea to India visa requirements

Visa on arrival is available to South Korean ordinary passport holders at six Indian airports for eligible visits up to 60 days; e-Visa is also available before travel. As of 2026-06-20, South Korean ordinary passport holders are not visa-free for India, but they can use India's Visa-on-Arrival (VOA) scheme for tourism, business, conference, or medical visits not exceeding 60 days. VOA is available only at six designated international airports: Bangalore/Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai. The immigration officer may grant a double-entry VOA valid up to 60 days; the fee is INR 2,000 or equivalent foreign currency per passenger, including children. VOA is not available to diplomatic/official passport holders, is non-extendable and non-convertible, and is unavailable to travelers who or whose parents/grandparents were born in or permanently resident in Pakistan. Travelers must hold a passport valid at least 6 months, return/onward travel, and sufficient funds. As an alternative, Korean travelers may apply before travel through the official Indian e-Visa portal. Current e-Tourist fees for Republic of Korea are USD 10 for a 30-day e-Tourist Visa from April to June, USD 25 for a 30-day e-Tourist Visa from July to March, USD 40 for a 1-year e-Tourist Visa, and USD 200 for a 5-year e-Tourist Visa, plus a 3% bank charge. The 30-day e-Tourist Visa grants double entry; the 1-year and 5-year e-Tourist Visas are multiple-entry and the e-Visa portal states the maximum stay in India during one calendar year should not exceed 180 days. The current e-Visa portal lists arrival through 33 designated airports and 19 designated seaports; land-border entry requires an appropriate regular visa.

Use VOA only if your ordinary South Korean passport trip is for tourism, business, conference, or medical purposes, is not over 60 days, and you will arrive at Bangalore/Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, or Mumbai.
