South Korea to Guyana visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Guyana. You may enter and stay visa-free for up to 30 days, provided you hold a passport valid for at least six months and can show proof of onward or return travel. As of June 2026, holders of an ordinary South Korean passport can travel to Guyana for tourism without any visa for stays of up to 30 days. Guyana is not part of the Schengen area, so no Schengen 90/180 rule or ETIAS applies. There is no electronic travel authorization (eTA), no eVisa, and no visa-on-arrival step for short tourist visits by Korean nationals. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the port of entry. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay and have at least two blank pages. Immigration officers may ask for proof of onward or return travel and evidence of sufficient funds. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers aged one year and older arriving from (or transiting more than 12 hours in) a country with yellow fever transmission risk; this is not normally a concern for travelers arriving directly from South Korea, but anyone routing through risk countries in Africa or South America must carry the certificate. Guyana also operates an online embarkation/disembarkation form that should be completed before travel. Because visa policies change, verify current conditions with a Guyanese diplomatic mission shortly before departure.
