South Korea to Cameroon visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Cameroon for tourism. Apply online at the official government portal (evisacam.cm) before travel; biometric enrolment and the physical visa sticker are completed on arrival. As of 30 May 2026, holders of an ordinary South Korean passport are NOT visa-exempt for Cameroon and must obtain an electronic visa (eVisa) before traveling for tourism. Applications are submitted exclusively through Cameroon's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX) consular portal at evisacam.cm. The short-stay eVisa covers stays of up to 180 days and is issued under standard processing within about 72 hours of payment (or roughly 24 hours under the express option). The eVisa grants an online pre-authorization with a QR code; the actual physical visa sticker is printed and affixed to the passport at the Cameroonian border post after mandatory biometric enrolment (fingerprints and photo) on arrival. A visa exemption agreement signed between Cameroon and South Korea in June 2024 covers only diplomatic and service passports and is still pending ratification, so it does not benefit ordinary tourist travelers. Cameroon is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers should also carry proof of yellow fever vaccination, which is required for entry into Cameroon.
