South Korea to Belize visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Belize. You receive a visitor's permit on arrival, typically valid for 30 days, which can be extended at a local immigration office. Belize grants visa-free entry to holders of ordinary South Korean (Republic of Korea) passports for tourism. The Belize Immigration Department lists South Korea among nationalities that do NOT require a visa. On arrival, an immigration officer issues a visitor's (tourist) entry permit, generally for up to 30 days, which can be extended in-country at an immigration office (subsequent extension fees apply). Belize is in Central America and is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. No visa fee is charged for the visa-free entry itself, but travelers should be prepared to show a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity, a return/onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. A departure tax (about US$73.50 by air, usually bundled into airfare) applies when leaving Belize. As of 2026-05-30, no eVisa, ETA, or pre-travel authorization is required for Korean tourists; entry is granted directly at the port of entry.
