South Korea to Belarus visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders can visit Belarus visa-free for up to 30 days, but ONLY when both arriving and departing through Minsk National Airport (or five other designated international airports), and NOT on flights coming from or going to Russia. Belarus grants visa-free entry for up to 30 calendar days to citizens of 76 countries, including the Republic of Korea, under a presidential decree (effective 2017, amended 2018 and 2021). The waiver is strictly tied to air travel: the traveler must arrive AND depart through one of the qualifying international airports — Minsk National Airport, Brest, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev, or Vitebsk. The most common entry point is Minsk National Airport. The key restriction is that this regime does NOT apply to anyone flying in from the Russian Federation or flying out to a Russian airport (those flights are treated as internal and bypass border control), so a Moscow connection breaks the visa-free eligibility. There is no bilateral visa-waiver treaty between Belarus and South Korea; this is a unilateral Belarusian facilitation. On arrival, travelers must hold an ordinary passport valid at least 90 days beyond the planned departure, proof of funds (at least 2 Belarusian base rates per day, or 50 base rates for a full 30-day stay), and medical insurance valid in Belarus with coverage of at least EUR 10,000. Travelers who cannot meet the airport-only condition (e.g. those entering overland or transiting Russia) should instead apply for a Belarusian visa or eVisa in advance.
