🇰🇷SOUTH KOREA🇧🇷BRAZILKR-BR Do South Korea passport holders need a visa to visit Brazil?
South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist travel to Brazil. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days per entry, with a maximum of 180 days within any 12-month period. Brazil and South Korea maintain a long-standing bilateral visa-exemption agreement covering ordinary passports for tourism and short visits. As a Korean ordinary passport holder, you can enter Brazil without any visa or pre-travel authorization for stays of up to 90 days. This 90-day period can be extended once by another 90 days, but total visa-free stay cannot exceed 180 days within any one-year (12-month) period. Importantly, the eVisa requirement that Brazil reinstated in 2025-2026 applies only to reciprocity-driven nationalities (United States, Canada, Australia, and from 2026 also Mexico, France, Argentina and 20+ others whose countries require visas of Brazilians). South Korea grants reciprocal visa-free entry to Brazilians, so Korean travelers are NOT affected and remain fully visa-free. At immigration you must show a passport valid for the duration of your stay, proof of onward/return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. Tourism is the only permitted purpose under this exemption; work, study, paid activities, or stays beyond the limit require a proper visa obtained in advance from a Brazilian diplomatic mission.
