Do South Korea passport holders need a visa to visit BE?

South Korean ordinary passport holders can travel to Belgium visa-free for tourism and short visits of up to 90 days within any 180-day period, as Belgium is part of the Schengen Area. South Korea is on the EU's visa-exemption list, so holders of an ordinary Korean passport do not need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa to visit Belgium for tourism, business, or family visits. You may stay up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area combined (not 90 days per country). At the border you must satisfy standard entry conditions: a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure and issued within the last 10 years, proof of accommodation and onward/return travel, and sufficient funds. No advance application is currently required. Note that ETIAS, the EU's travel authorization for visa-exempt nationals, is expected to launch in Q4 2026 and become mandatory after a transitional period (around 2027). As of 30 May 2026 it is NOT yet required — you can travel to Belgium with just your passport.
