South Korean ordinary passport holders may visit the United Arab Emirates without arranging a visa before travel. UAE MoFA's visa-exemption checker lists the Republic of Korea as visa-free, while Korean MOFA and the Korean Embassy in the UAE state that Koreans can stay in the UAE visa-free for up to 90 days when holding a passport with at least six months' remaining validity. Emirates' UAE visa guidance places South Korea in the 90-day visit eligibility group and describes the arrival permission as a multiple-entry 90-day visit stamp valid for 6 months from the date of issue, with 90 days of stay in total. This is not a Schengen-style rolling 90 days within any 180 days rule. No eVisa, pre-approval, or fee is required for the initial short visit, but entry remains subject to UAE immigration approval. Travelers should carry return or onward travel details, accommodation information, and enough funds. Work, study, residence, and other long-term purposes require the correct UAE visa or permit. If the traveler needs more time, they should leave before the permitted stay ends or use an eligible ICP/GDRFA/issuing-authority extension or new permit route before expiry. ICP lists fines of AED 50 per day for staying after the permitted period expires.
