Japan to Togo visa requirements

A Japanese ordinary passport holder needs a visa for Togo and must obtain it as an eVisa online before travel. Togo has discontinued visa on arrival, so all visitors apply through the official Togo Voyage e-Visa portal at least 5 days before arrival. A single-entry 15-day tourist eVisa costs 25,000 CFA francs (about USD 40). A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory, and every traveler must also complete the online immigration form no later than 24 hours before arrival. Japan is not on Togo's visa-exemption list, so Japanese citizens require a visa for tourism. Since the rollout of the centralized Togo Voyage platform, Togo no longer issues visas on arrival; instead, travelers of all nationalities apply for an eVisa online. Applications must be submitted at least five days before arrival, with standard processing of around five working days. The most common tourist option is a single-entry visa valid for a 15-day stay at 25,000 CFA francs; longer 30-day and 90-day options are available at higher fees, and multiple-entry variants exist. Separately, all arrivals (including visa holders) must complete the mandatory online immigration/declaration form within 24 hours before arrival, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry. Verified against the official Togo Voyage portal (voyage.gouv.tg), the Wikipedia visa-policy summary, and the U.S. State Department country page, the correct verdict for a short Japanese tourist visit is eVisa.
