Italy to eSwatini visa requirements

Italian (EU) ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist visits to eSwatini. You receive a free visitor's entry stamp on arrival valid for up to 30 days. As of June 2026, Italy is on eSwatini's visa-exempt list. eSwatini (the Kingdom of Eswatini, formerly Swaziland) grants visa-free entry to citizens of most European Union countries, including Italy, as well as Commonwealth nations, the USA and Japan. Italian tourists are admitted for up to 30 days without any prior visa, eVisa or visa-on-arrival application; an entry stamp is issued free of charge at the port of entry. The passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the intended stay. The visit can be extended once by a further 30 days at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Mbabane; stays beyond 60 days require a Temporary Residence Permit. Note: eSwatini launched an optional eVisa portal (evisa.gov.sz) in August 2025, but this targets nationalities that DO require a visa and does not affect Italy's visa-free status. eSwatini is in Southern Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
