Italy to Philippines visa requirements

Italian passport holders can enter the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days; free eTravel registration is required within 72 hours before arrival. As of 2026-06-21, Italian ordinary passport holders may enter the Philippines without a visa for tourism or short business visits for up to 30 days. Travelers must hold a passport valid at least six months beyond the stay and a return or onward ticket. Arriving foreign passengers must register or update through the official eTravel system at etravel.gov.ph within 72 hours before arrival; eTravel is free and travelers should save the QR code for airline boarding and arrival processing. Admission remains at the discretion of Philippine immigration authorities. If staying beyond the authorized period, apply for an extension of stay with the Bureau of Immigration or its eServices platform before the current stay expires, ideally at least one week ahead. Visa-free entry does not permit employment, study, journalism, or residence; those purposes require the appropriate Philippine visa or permit. Foreign non-immigrant visitors staying under one year are generally not subject to Philippine travel tax; TIEZA lists non-immigrant foreign passport holders as subject when their stay exceeds one year.
