Italian passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist trips to Kyrgyzstan. You may enter visa-free, but as of 31 December 2025 the stay is capped at 30 calendar days within any 60-day period (reduced from the previous 60 days). Italy is an EU member state, and all EU citizens enjoy visa-free entry to Kyrgyzstan. Following Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 855, effective 31 December 2025, the visa-free allowance for citizens of 55 countries (including Italy and all EU states) was shortened to a maximum cumulative stay of 30 calendar days within any 60-day period.
