India to Trinidad and Tobago visa requirements

No visa is required. Indian ordinary passport holders can enter Trinidad and Tobago visa-free for tourism for up to 3 months (90 days). Holders of an ordinary Indian passport do not need a visa to visit Trinidad and Tobago for tourism or business. Under the country's official visa policy (Statutory Instrument SI 09/10, in force since 30 December 2010), Indian nationals are granted visa-free entry "for up to three (3) months for entry on Vacation or Business." This is confirmed in the Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs "Visa Requirements for All Countries" document, which lists India with the remark that a visa is not required for vacation or business stays of up to three months; prior approval is still required for employment or any other purpose. The exact admission period is set by the immigration officer at the port of entry. There is no visa fee for short tourist visits. Travelers must carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, and should be ready to show proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. Important operational change for 2026: as of 17 March 2026, all arriving and departing travelers must complete the free online Arrival/Departure Card (digital Immigration & Customs declaration) at travel.gov.tt and present the QR-code receipt on arrival. The form can be submitted up to 72 hours before travel. Because the official table technically marks the visa column "Yes" while the remark grants the waiver, conservative travelers should keep documentation handy and verify the latest rules before departure.
