India to Türkiye visa requirements

Indian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Türkiye. A conditional e-Visa is available only with a valid Schengen, U.S., UK, or Ireland visa or residence permit; otherwise use the consular sticker-visa route. Türkiye is not visa-free for most Indian passport holders. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that Indian ordinary, special, and service passport holders require a visa, while diplomatic passport holders are exempt for stays up to 90 days. Indian ordinary, special, and service passport holders with a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Ireland may obtain a single-entry e-Visa via the official evisa.gov.tr portal, provided they meet the listed conditions. The Turkish Embassy in New Delhi confirms that India nationals are eligible for e-Visa only when they hold one of those supporting documents, that the supporting document must be valid on the date of entry to Türkiye, and that e-Visas of other countries are not accepted as supporting documents. The e-Visa is for tourism or commerce only; work, study, and other purposes require a visa from a Turkish embassy or consulate. The official e-Visa portal says fees vary by travel document and must be checked during the official Apply flow, so this page no longer hard-codes an unsupported e-Visa amount. Travelers who are not eligible for the e-Visa should apply for a sticker visa through a Turkish mission or its current authorized process before travel.
