India to Fiji visa requirements

Indian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Fiji for tourism. India is on Fiji's visa-exempted list, and travelers are issued a visitor's permit of up to 4 months on arrival, free of charge. India is among the countries exempted from the Fiji visa requirement. An Indian ordinary passport holder arriving for tourism or a short visit is issued a visitor's permit at the port of entry valid for up to 4 months (120 days), with no advance application and no entry fee. To enter, you simply present a passport valid for at least 6 months, a confirmed return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and evidence of sufficient funds. The visitor's permit covers tourism and short non-business stays only; paid work, study, or business activity is not permitted. If you need to stay longer, you can apply on-island to the Department of Immigration to extend the permit by a further 2 months (maximum total stay 6 months), which carries a fee of FJD 93.00 and takes about 3-5 working days. The Fiji visa-free entry is a long-standing, traveler-friendly policy and remains in force as of 2026, confirmed directly on the Fiji Ministry of Immigration website. Fiji is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
