India to Cameroon visa requirements

Indian (ordinary) passport holders need a visa for Cameroon. Since 30 April 2023 all Cameroon entry visas are issued online through the official eVisa portal (evisacam.cm) - there is no visa-on-arrival and no embassy sticker process. Apply for a short-stay eVisa before you travel, and carry a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate, which is checked on arrival. Cameroon is not visa-free for Indian citizens and is not part of any visa-waiver or Schengen arrangement. The Government of Cameroon (Ministry of External Relations / MINREX) launched a mandatory electronic visa system on 30 April 2023; since then, applications for entry visas are accepted ONLY online via the official portal at evisacam.cm. Indian travelers register on the portal, complete the form, upload a passport bio-page, photo and supporting documents (return ticket, proof of accommodation, proof of funds, and an international yellow fever vaccination certificate), pay the fee, and receive an electronic visa approval. The short-stay eVisa is the correct category for tourism and short visits. The regular procedure returns a decision within 72 hours of payment; an express option returns it within 24 hours at a higher fee. The short-stay visa can authorize a stay/validity window of up to 180 days and is available as single or multiple entry. Fees published by Cameroon diplomatic missions are approximately EUR 153 (regular) / EUR 229 (express) for the short-stay category, equivalent to the long-standing domestic rate of about CFA 150,000. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is compulsory and strictly enforced at entry. Because there is no no-visa channel, the verdict is firmly eVisa (visa required, obtained electronically in advance).
