India to Azerbaijan visa requirements
Indian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Azerbaijan and can obtain it online via the official ASAN e-visa portal. No visa-free entry or visa-on-arrival is available. As of 2026, Indian ordinary passport holders require a visa to enter Azerbaijan for tourism and are not eligible for visa-free entry or visa-on-arrival. The standard route is the government ASAN e-visa, applied for entirely online at evisa.gov.az. It is a single-entry e-visa permitting a stay of up to 30 days, valid for entry within 90 days of issue. The standard government fee is USD 25 plus a USD 5 service fee (total USD 30), with processing up to 3 working days. An urgent option costs USD 60 plus the USD 5 service fee (total USD 65) and is processed within 3 hours. The passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the e-visa's expiry. The printed e-visa must be presented with the passport at the border. Azerbaijan is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
