India to Angola visa requirements

No visa needed. Indian ordinary passport holders can enter Angola visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days per visit (max 90 days per calendar year, up to 3 entries), under the exemption in force since 29 September 2023. Since 29 September 2023 (Presidential Decree 189/23), Angola has granted tourist visa exemption to nationals of 98 countries, including India. An Indian ordinary passport holder traveling for tourism or a short visit does NOT need a visa: entry is granted on arrival for up to 30 days per visit, with a cumulative maximum of 90 days within a calendar year and a limit of three visa-free entries per year. The exemption is strictly for tourism (and, in practice, short business meetings); it cannot be used for paid work, study, or long stays, and it cannot be extended in-country. On arrival, travelers should carry a passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages, a return/onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for all travelers entering Angola. For any stay exceeding 30 days, or for work, study, business operations, or other non-tourist purposes, an appropriate visa (e.g. via Angola's eVisa/SME portal or an Angolan consulate) must be obtained in advance.
