Indonesia to Hong Kong (SAR China) visa requirements

No visa needed. Indonesian ordinary passport holders can enter Hong Kong visa-free for tourism and stay up to 30 days. Indonesian ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for short visits to Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Immigration Department lists Indonesia among the nationalities allowed visa-free entry, granting a stay of up to 30 days for visits, tourism, family visits, transit, and permitted short business activities such as attending meetings, seminars, trade fairs, or concluding contracts. No advance application, eVisa, visa on arrival, or pre-arrival registration is required. Visitors should hold a valid Indonesian passport, adequate funds, and an onward or return ticket unless in transit to Mainland China or Macao. Visitor status does not permit employment, study, establishing or joining a business, selling goods directly to the public, or supplying services directly to the public. If you already know you need more than 30 days, apply for a visa or entry permit before travelling; any extension request in Hong Kong must be made before the limit of stay expires and remains discretionary.
