Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit Türkiye?
No visa needed. Finnish ordinary passport holders can enter Türkiye visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism. Finland (FI) ordinary passport holders are exempt from any visa to enter Türkiye for tourism or short visits. Under Türkiye's official policy, Finnish citizens may stay up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period without a visa or e-Visa. No advance application, fee, or e-Visa is required: travelers simply present a valid passport at the border. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises carrying a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival; under Turkish law the document must remain valid for a minimum of 60 days beyond the intended stay. The 90/180 rule is enforced by counting all days already spent in Türkiye in the 180 days preceding entry, not by calendar year. To stay beyond 90 days, Finnish nationals must obtain a short-term residence permit (ikamet) from within Türkiye before the visa-free period expires. Border officers may ask for proof of onward travel and sufficient funds.
