Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit QA?

Finnish passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist trips to Qatar. As EU/Schengen citizens, they receive a free visa waiver stamped on arrival, allowing up to 90 days within any 180-day period. A Finland (FI) ordinary passport holder traveling to Qatar (QA) for tourism enters visa-free under Qatar's visa waiver program for European Union nationals. No advance application or fee is required: a multiple-entry waiver is issued free of charge at the port of entry on presentation of a valid passport and a return or onward ticket. The permitted stay is up to 90 days within any 180-day rolling period (one continuous stay or multiple visits). Note: some older or commercial sources cite a 30-day visa-on-arrival for EU citizens; this is outdated. Under the current policy, EU member states (except Ireland, which gets 30+30 days) receive the 90/180 entitlement. Qatar is NOT in the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entering Qatar (those concern travel INTO the EU/Schengen). Qatar's own 90/180 limit is a separate, similarly structured rule. Passport should be valid at least 6 months from arrival (Visit Qatar's page states a 3-month minimum, but 6 months is the widely cited safe standard and matches the waiver program terms). Confirmed accommodation may be requested at the border.
